The 2.0 Marvel starter pack also comes with 3 figures but only 1 play set (Avengers). So that would give you some good variety and a good idea of what the game is like. The 1.0 starter pack comes with 3 figures and 3 full play sets: Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Monsters University. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. As someone else said, it depends on what your son enjoys. The Wii U has more memory than the Wii and HD graphics, so it's going to look and play better.Īs for which version of the game to get (1.0, 2.0, or 3.0), I own all three and I enjoy all three. Personally I love the original Disney Infinity game (1.0). The size of home-made Toy Box games is smaller than other platfforms and even the content of pre-made Playsets has been trimmed down to save on size. ĭue to the space limitations of the Wii platform, there is no local multiplayer in Play Sets, though there is multiplayer in any Toy Box levels you create.
